Colourful oval earrings with 24ct gold lustre on silver earring hooks with rubber backings.

Small 1.2cm or Large 2cm.

“The precious metals on my work are applied using lustres which are made of real particles of gold, platinum or copper suspended in a natural liquid medium, usually a pine oil resin. Once applied the jewellery piece is fired in the kiln to a low temperature. This burns away the organic binder, what remains is a layer of real melted gold, platinum or copper on the jewellery piece.”
